What It Means to Be a Multilingual App

The Appy Hotel team has worked hard to design a product that caters to everyone, not just English speakers. Although Appy Hotel was released in English, it currently features five languages—Spanish, German, Italian, French, and, of course, English—and we have no intention of stopping there.

In the near future, Appy Hotel will be available in many more languages. This is a big step forward in making a platform for business-to-customer interaction that accommodates users from all over the world.

We understand that not all guests and hoteliers speak English, Spanish, or French as a first language. So why should Appy Hotel default to those languages when there are hundreds of others that need to be represented? With clients throughout Europe and Asia, we want to make sure that Appy Hotel is easy for everyone to use—we want to deliver the same level of service that you expect your staff to provide for your guests. And part of that service is giving you the option of working in your native language, whatever it may be.

How to Change the Languages That Your App Publishes

When you log in to the Appy Wizard, hold your mouse over Settings on the drop down menu. Click Languages. Now, you can select your preferred default language—although English is the most common default language, you can set yours to French, German, Italian, or Spanish, if you wish. You can also choose other languages that you would like to feature on your app and mobile website.
